The program included booths for various prize-awarding competitions, spectacular decorations and appearance of Morgano troupe and of Shimon Nachmani, the famous magician. A lovely competition was also held with a mountain bike, weekends, restaurant meals, coupons for various stores, and dozens of other valuable items as the prizes.

Jerusalem was also not far behind. It conducted a colorful Purim market with many stations. They were joined by the police and the Beitar Jerusalem soccer team that arrived with all its members and with hands full of presents for the children and in a festive mood. A plentiful meal was served, a costume competition was held, the glorious evening terminated in an appearance by Amit, the magician the singer, Yishai Lapidot.

Zichron Menachem merriment teams operated during the two Purim days in Jerusalem, Gush Etzion, Beit Shemesh and vicinity. Masqueraded musicians and volunteers visited the houses of dozens of children, distributed Purim goodies and cheered up the families.
