Zichron Menachem hosts nation-wide social event for cancer-stricken teens
Zichron Menachem recently hosted a social event in Jerusalem for youths and teenagers from all parts of Israel who are currently undergoing cancer treatment.

We initiate social events for teenage cancer patients from all over Israel several times each year, so that the young people can stay in contact with each other in between attending the three Adventure Camps which we run in Israel and abroad every year.

Above and beyond being enjoyable social events, these get-togethers serve a very serious purpose for these young people. These activities give the youths and teens an opportunity to spend time and intermingle with others who are going through similar experiences. Only people who are in this situation can fully understand and share what they are facing and going through, as young cancer patients.

The evening's program included bowling and billiards, which the "Achim Yisrael Mall" Bowling Lanes sponsored for these young people. After the bowling party, the young people went to the Zichron Menachem Day Center where they enjoyed a delicious supper generously donated by the "Tzidkiyahu" Steak Restaurant in Jerusalem.

At the conclusion of this enjoyable evening, the youths were thrilled to view a newly-produced video “clip” showing Zichron Menachem’s Adventure Camp in Eilat during the recent Chanukah-winter vacation. This entertaining presentation was prepared for the teens and youths by our very talented volunteer, Danny Shilo.
