16th annual ZM winter camp in Eilat comes to successful finish

In December 2005, a total of 118 cancer-stricken children and teens ages 5 and a-half to 23 years - all of whom are currently undergoing treatment in 12 different hospitals throughout Israel - attended a ZM-sponsored dream vacation in Eilat during the Chanukah holiday.
Update on support groups for parents of children with cancer

Within the framework of ZM's program of support groups for parents of cancer-stricken children, dozens of parents recently enjoyed going out together for dinner at the "Ahavat Hayam" fish restaurant in Jerusalem.
Radio-telethon campaign to benefit ZM children

"Radio Yerushalayim - Jerusalem Radio station FM 101" recently ran a fundraising campaign for the benefit of the ZM children.
Complementary medicine at the ZM Day Center in Jerusalem

ZM has implemented an additional support service at its educational, social and rehabilitation Day Center in Jerusalem. Cancer-stricken children and their parents can enjoy reflexology and holistic massage treatments.
Leisure day at Israel's Dead Sea for ZM 'Sherut Leumi' volunteers

Within the framework of ZM's program for 'Sherut Leumi' volunteers, these young women benefit from facilitated support group sessions which take place 8 times each month. As part of the support group's activities, the young Sherut Leumi women went on a leisure-day group outing to the Dead Sea.
Kids in USA send ZM kids get-well cards

Children in the USA sent get-well cards to the ZM children. These touching and cute cards are in English and Hebrew, which the children learned in Hebrew school.

The Zichron Menachem children were invited by our friends Eugene and Jean Gluck from the USA to join them at "Hakafot Shni'ot" celebrations in Jerusalem, the night after "Simchat Torah" ended.

The late Renana Rivka Avnery was a member of the "Zichron Menachem Family" during her struggle with cancer. During her illness, Renana's family also became part of the 'ZM Family'.

Summer 2005 Adventure Camp

128 children sick with cancer, aged 5-21 years and under treatment at 12 different hospitals throughout Israel, attended the 2005 "Zichron Menachem Overseas Adventure Camp" - crossing no less than three international borders in the process! This overseas camp took place during the same time period that the Disengagement process took place in Israel.

The advent of Spring brings with it renewal, vigor, release from the introversion of winter, and hope. The children of Zichron Menachem waited with bated breath for the coming of Spring since for them it means "Zichron Menachem Spring Camp" - more than "just" a vacation for them - a liberation in every respect.
